Exhibitions
Through our annual Exhibition Program the Mundaring Arts Centre aims to engage, inspire and reward visitors with a feast of visual arts experiences. Every four weeks a new and original exhibition is presented, featuring works by skilled local and regional artists across a range of media. Our exhibitions are carefully balanced to not only represent the artistic world and its full scope of creative ideas and technical talents but to allow audiences of every age to explore and expand their appetite and appreciation of visual culture.
The Mundaring Arts Centre encourages expressions of interest across all disciplines and visual art forms. Through our Exhibition Program, we are committed to working with emerging, mid career and established artists to make their art accessible to our audiences within and outside our region.

The Shire of Mundaring Acquisition Exhibition: an annual exhibition of artworks which reflects the depth and diversity of artistic talent in the Hills community. A rotating format of Invitational; Open and Commissioning years allows the Shire of Mundaring to directly support its local artistic community by acquiring works from this exhibition for its significant art collection.
Mine Own Executioner: Every year since 1995 the Mundaring Arts Centre’s presents this unique exhibition of new Western Australian self portraiture. Each MAC invites a curator to take the reigns and choose those practicing artists they would like to see tackle this fascinating genre.
Beyond the Brick: This exhibition features the vibrant, creative young talent of our community’s annual Year 12 graduates. It showcases their range of skills expressed across a number of arts related fields, often following their evolution of their creative pursuits as they venture from beyond the high school walls and into world of the working artist.
